One of my favorite tools for search engine optimization research is Aaron Wall’s SEO Toolbar. Best of all it’s FREE!

This toolbar is a feature rich program that will enable you to quickly research different aspects of on page and off page optimization, check the ranking of a site, or even compare various sites for SEO optimization. The bar includes a list of handy tabs that will look up Yahoo back links, Google Page Rank, Compete.com trends, site history, and WhoIs data.

Here’s a sample of the valuable tools you’ll have at your fingertips:

  • Rank Checker
  • SEO X-Ray
  • Keyword Research Lookup
  • Keyword Highlighter
  • Site Background Info
  • Traffic Estimates
  • Competitive Research Links
  • Link information
  • Directory information

The toolbar is a plug in for the Mozilla Firefox browser, so you will only be able to use it when you are browsing through Firefox. If you don’t use Mozilla Firefox, you can download it for free, then open the browser, click on the link below, download and install the toolbar and get going!

Try it out for yourself and download it for free here.

Is it better than SEO Quake? Have you tried both?

Roger,
I have not tried SEO Quake.
